What is Yogaboxing?
Yogaboxing is a fusion of five proven fitness disciplines: yoga, boxing, African dance, aerobics and tai chi to activate the body’s emotional, vital sexual, physical, internal and subtle energies quickly, safely and effectively to detox the body, tone and shape the body, and empower people to achieve their greatest results possible.

How does Yogaboxing differ from traditional yoga?
Yogaboxing comes from Tantric Kriya Yoga a tradition of Tantra Yoga from Southern India taught by masters called Siddhas, Kriya is Sanscrit for "Action".

In Yogaboxing, unlike Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga (traditional yoga), you breath through your mouth and your nose. Nose breathing is mostly done in the other Yoga classes. Nose breathing is masculine, Mouth breathing feminine. Yogaboxing uses both nose and mouth breathing (circular breathing) to balance masculine and feminine energies in the body. Nose breathing is masculine because it brings air predominantly to the head, mouth breathing brings air to the body. People get dizzy usually breathing through their nose, and become grounded when they breathe through their mouth.

In Yogaboxing the pelvis is tilted towards the rear of the spine, with knees bent and feet positioned "shoulder width" apart.. In most Yoga disciplines (especially in the West) the pelvis is tucked inward towards the front of the spine. When the pevlis is tilted further back, the primary stabilizing muscles in the body are engaged, including the thighs, quads, abs and butt and the spine lengthens effortlessly. This is why Yogaboxing tones the body and lenghtens the spine faster than other exercise systems and provides greater stability and balance than traditional Tai Chi Ch'uan and Qi Gong practices.. Just the grounding pose alone engages the legs, butt and abs, and the pelvis tilted back allows the body to stand for longer periods of time safely, without putting pressure on the lumbar spine, or skeletal structure of the body.

What benefits does it have over traditional yoga?
Yogaboxing differs from traditional yoga in that it intentionally activates the body's vital sexual and emotional energy, using African dance, powerful mantras and boxing movements to awaken the energy centers, stimulate and charge the body with powerful sexual energy to help people look younger, feel better, detox faster, build up their immune system, release stress and... dah dah... have a good time. Yogaboxing is safer than traditional yoga as all postures involve bent knees, pelvis tilted to the rear of the spine, stomach in,  and use of the primary muscles in the legs, butt and abs. There is a tendency in traditional yoga to encourage over stretching, which often causes beginners to injure themselves in classes. Yogaboxing eliminates this injury risk by having standing postures only, with emphasis on using the pelvic floor muscles and internal muscle contractions to hold the spine straight, while keeping the hips and shoulders in continuous alignment. Therefore, Yogaboxing is more appropriately suited for beginners, children and seniors than traditional yoga.

Yogaboxing adds empowerment exercises for people to set boundaries, saying "no" and "yes" to punching sequences while invoking mental sciences like Neuro Linguistic Programming and ancient systems like Tantra to activate the emotional and vital sexual energy in the body. In doing so, Yogaboxing creates a more dynamic process of balancing the body, mind and spirit, than traditional yoga.

What benefits does it have for your mind and body?
Yogaboxing quickly eliminates stress through emotional release, and powerful boxing movements to release the tension of the work day. Yogaboxing is safe and brings the body and mind into balance by using a combination of active and passive movements perfectly woven to keep the body in a continuously high, adrenalin filled state without stressing the heart and lungs. Abdominal breathing allows more oxygen to fill the blood, and be brought to the body so that Yogaboxers experience fat burning, exhilarating, benefits without breaking down the muscles or the body.
